My daughter has been playing the guitar for two years now, but she told me the other day that she feels like she is stuck. She can’t seem to get past the point where she is now. I suspect that it has something to do with her scale mastery. She has never been a very good at guitar scale practice. She hates them, so she does them quickly and sloppily. But she is going to have to do much better than that if she wants to get past this rut. Maybe it would help if I got a computer program to make it more fun.
