Emergencies come up many times.  Especially in your home.  If there is a storm you need to have the ability to continue your daily life even if you loose power, water and phone service.  We live in an area that has severe storms every year.  One of the best investments we have ever made is for a home generator systems.  It has helped us though some pretty terrifying times.  I could not even think of living in this area without the home generator.  The first time we lost all our power it was very frightening.  Since we have had the home generator, we can still be pretty comfortable when everything goes down.
