I remember many years ago looking for wholesale resources for the ipod.  I found a few but it turned out to be ridden with scams and garbage so I decided to sell office equipment instead.  I think it turned out to be a good decision.  My profit margin when dealing with office equipment over the years has been really quite high.  If I would deal in iPods, I might be able to sell them in droves but my profit margin would be extremely low and that means I’d have an enormous amount of money tied up in inventory at all times.  With office equipment I’m able to keep far less inventory on hand and probably make close to as much money because I make so much more money per unit.  I also don’t have to spend all day packing and shipping the stuff.
