When I first learned my husband and I would be traveling to Asia, I was at a total loss on what to do.  I needed to find an accommodation in Singapore. Now I knew nothing about this or even where to begin.  I quickly ran to my faithful computer and plugged in my request, after which I gave a sigh of relief. I was able to find hotels ranging from five star hotels to budget hotels. Seeing as this was our first trip, I naturally opted for at least a four stay hotel. This I did via the Internet which gave me all the information I needed, even a map of the city and location of the hotel. This was traveling made easy.
